Grip the test with your thumb, then urinate on the test or dip the test in a clean container of urine. Wait at least two minutes before reading the results.

Certain medications can affect an EPT result. These include any that contain Human Chorionic Gonddotropin (hCG) or are used in combination with hCG. These include brand names Humegon, Pregnyl, Profasi, Pergonal or APL. Other conditions such as ovarian cysts or other medical conditions also can interfere with a home pregnancy test's effectiveness.
