Khloe Kardashian lost 33 pounds in 3 months — here's how!

Khloe Kardashian is close to getting her "Revenge Body" back. The reality star has revealed she has already lost 33 pounds since giving birth to daughter True Thompson, and this is how she did it.

Khloe Kardashian gave birth to daughter True Thompson just three months ago, and she has already lost a significant amount of weight. In a new post on her app, the reality star revealed she has dropped 33 pounds, explaining to fans exactly how she did it.

"After I had True, I didn't put any pressure on myself to lose the baby weight. I just wanted to get back to my regular routine from before I got pregnant, which was working out five to six times a week," the "Revenge Body" creator wrote.

Khloe explains that she didn't set any weight goals for herself so soon after welcoming her baby, especially since she wasn't able to work out for the first six weeks after giving birth to True. "But since then I've lost 33 pounds!" she continued. "I'm shocked that I lost that much weight that quickly." So just how did it happen? "I'm chalking this up to the combination of breast-feeding and being very active during and after my pregnancy," she added.

Just in case you are worried that Khloe is losing too much weight too fast, don't be. Ramona Braganza, who helped both Jessica Alba and Halle Berry get their pre-baby bodies back after their first pregnancies with her 3-2-1 Baby Bulge Be Gone program, explains to LIVESTRONG.COM that, depending on a woman's age and fitness levels before pregnancy, it is possible to lose one to two pounds a week if exercising and breast-feeding. "Ten pounds a month is totally achievable," she explains. "On average, most women gain 25 to 30 pounds during pregnancy and can lose that safely in 12 weeks."

Khloe's impressive weight loss may also have something to do with her diet. Last month the new mom detailed her strict low-carb, high-protein diet, which includes a breakfast of eggs, oatmeal and fruit; a lean meat, half a portion of a simple starch and salad for lunch; fish with another protein and yams for dinner; and daily snacks of fruits, nuts and veggies.

While Khloe didn't divulge her daily calorie count, Braganza explains that as long as a breastfeeding mom is consuming about 1,800 to 2,000 to fuel workouts and nursing (which can burn 500 per day) they should be okay. "It is advisable to eat healthy but not continue to eat for two," she says. However, Khloe recently revealed that she is no longer breastfeeding True, so it's likely she has slashed her calorie intake accordingly.

Her trainer, Joel Bouraima, also revealed to LIVESTRONG.COM last month that Khloe was back in the gym six days per week, lifting "light weights with lots of reps" and doing "body weight with bands and a treadmill." He also added that he was confident she would be back in "beast mode" soon enough — which means she's likely working out even harder now.

However, Khloe says she has a healthy outlook on her baby weight-loss journey, and isn't in any competition to get her body back. "I never compare myself to other women as every woman has their own journey. We also all have different priorities in our day-to-day lives," she wrote. "One of mine is having that one hour where I can be selfish and alone in my place of refuge."

Khloe considers working out her "me" time, and is motivated by its mental health benefits. Exercising produces endorphins, natural mood boosters that enhance warm and fuzzy feelings, while reducing the activity of hormones like adrenalin and cortisol, which produce feelings of anxiety and tension.

"Staying healthy and active is something that's very important to me. Exercise is something I've always used to maintain my sanity and relieve stress," she continued. "And now that I have a baby, I still want to keep something that's my time, my space, something I'm doing for myself."

Keep up the impressive work, Khloe!
