15 Ways to Never Deprive Yourself AND Eat Healthy

 by Erin Mosbaugh

In our latest Stronger podcast, we chat with The Balanced Blonde and Kelley LeVeque of BE WELL BY KELLY about ways to eat healthy without feeling deprived.

You're too tired to function, so you end up getting greasy takeout instead of eating a healthy meal. You do a cleanse, and at the end of it you're left wanting nothing but bread and cookies. Don't stress. We've all been there because we're all human.

We address this struggle in the latest episode of the Stronger podcast with wellness experts Kelly LeVeque of @bewellbykelly and Jordan Younger of @thebalancedblonde. The duo dish on how to eat healthy AND have fun, and they explain how not being so hard on yourself can actually lead to better eating habits.

LeVeque and Younger also reveal tricks to replace bad habits with new, healthier ones. For example, you can have a protein shake "roadie" on your way to a meal. That way, you won't show up to the restaurant starving and stuff yourself with bread. Another easy trick: Don't order wine until you order dinner. If you make this into a healthy habit, you'll be less likely to have a second or third glass during the meal.

Listen in so you are equipped with the necessary tools to eat healthy without feeling like you're missing out. Because at the end of the day, what's life without good food and fun?
