Prilosec and Protonix
If you experience symptoms of acid reflux or heartburn, your doctor may prescribe Prilosec (omeprazole) or Protonix (pantoprazole) to decrease the amount of acid produced in your stomach. Both drugs belong to a group of medications called proton pump inhibitors.
