You could spend an entire day in the beauty aisle at your local drugstore trying to pick a wrinkle cream that really works. Out of the hundreds of creams on the market, some get results and some don't. Just because a wrinkle cream costs a lot of money doesn't mean it goes the distance, and a long list of complex ingredients doesn't mean it's a miracle-maker. Here are consumers' choices for the best over-the-counter wrinkle creams on the market today.

Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum

Both Consumer Search and Consumer Reports rated Olay Regenerist the best wrinkle cream on the market. Beneficial ingredients including niacinamide help fight free radicals and leave skin feeling silky and smooth. Olay Regenerist is light enough to wear under makeup; however, reviews said it may not provide enough moisture for dry skin. It also does not contain a sunscreen. Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum costs $19 for 1.7 oz.

Clinique Repairwear Deep Wrinkle Concentrate for Face and Eye

Consumer Search and Beautypedia.com gave Clinique Repairwear Deep Wrinkle Concentrate for Face and Eye top marks for its complex cocktail of free-radical-fighting antioxidants, including soy, vitamin C, vitamin E, green tea, chamomile and algae extract. Experts say the more antioxidants the better, and the Clinique cream has more than 10. The cream is fragrance-free and light enough to be worn under makeup, but those with dry skin may need another moisturizer in addition. The Clinique cream doesn't contain a sunscreen and costs $55 for 1 oz.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream

According to Consumer Search, reviewers say Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream is "an excellent and affordable option that can really make a difference in the overall appearance of skin." Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream contains retinol, a form of vitamin A that encourages the production of collagen in the skin, helping to improve the plumpness, firmness and elasticity of the skin. It also includes several antioxidants to fight free radicals. The noted cons were that retinol can cause some irritation to sensitive skin and sensitivity to the sun. The cream doesn't include sunscreen and costs $13 for 1.4 oz.
