Maynard’s Wine Gums Nutrition
A packet of Maynard's Wine Gums contains 170 calories or 9 percent of your daily requirement based on a 2,000-calorie-per-day diet. The roll provides 3.2 g of protein, 39 grams of carbohydrates, 29.2 grams of sugar and 0.1 gram of fat. There is no fiber in a packet of wine gums. Ingredients
Despite their name, Maynards Wine Gums do not contain any wine. The list of ingredients includes glucose syrup; sugar; modified maize starch; gelatin; water; malic, acetic and citric acid; vegetable oil; concentrated vegetable extracts including black carrot, spinach, stinging nettle and turmeric; flavorings; carnauba wax; and vegetable carbon, paprika extract and lutein for coloring.

Maynard's Wine Gums are made with natural colors but contain sulphur dioxide and sulphites. The package also warns that they may contain traces of milk and wheat.

Maynard's Wine Gums are available in rolls that contain round sweets or larger packages with different-shaped sweets that bear the inscriptions "Port," "Sherry," "Champagne," "Burgundy" and "Claret." A piece from one of these larger packages contains 20 calories, which equates to 1 percent of your total calorie intake.
