Blackheads, which occur when skin's pores become clogged with sebum that later oxidizes, can occur anywhere on the body with oil glands, including the buttocks. Treating blackheads on your buttocks can be challenging, since you are unable to easily see the blackheads that you are trying to remove, but it can be accomplished in about six to eight weeks with daily treatment.

Step 1

Cleanse your buttocks daily with a loofah and body wash in the shower. The loofah will exfoliate your skin.

Step 2

Pat the skin on your buttocks dry with a towel after exiting the shower. Avoid using a scrubbing motion, which can irritate skin.

Step 3

Apply witch hazel to the affected area with a cotton ball. The witch hazel will dry out the sebum causing the blackheads. Allow the witch hazel to fully dry, which may take one to two minutes.

Step 4

Massage a small amount of benzoyl peroxide cream, which will kill the bacteria causing the blackheads, into your blackheads after the witch hazel has dried.

Tip

Allow the benzoyl peroxide cream to dry fully before getting dressed, as it can bleach clothing.
