Doctors often prescribe medication to help control testosterone, but if you prefer a more natural solution, diet and lifestyle changes may influence the hormone in mild cases.

These include white bread, pasta and sugar, conventional and pre-packaged foods and fast foods. Complement a healthy balanced diet with regular exercise.

Increase your intake of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables to lower levels of male hormones in the body, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Berries, tomatoes, squash and bell peppers are all rich in antioxidants.

Step 4

Use healthy oils for cooking such as coconut and olive oil, and avoid trans-fatty acids, such as those found in conventional and pre-packaged foods and fast food. Trans-fatty acids may encourage increased levels of testosterone, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.
