Hass avocados contain up to 26 grams of total fat per whole fruit, according to Calorie King, which accounts for 41 percent of your daily needs. The fats in avocados are largely monounsaturated, the best type of fat you can consume to lower cholesterol levels and protect against heart disease, according to the American Heart Association.
