The average adult should only consume 24 grams of sugar a day, but many sweets can contain triple that amount. So we searched high and low for companies that have mastered the art of creating delicious desserts with 10 grams or less per serving. Just watch the portion size!

1. Hail Merry Miracle Tarts: 3 Grams of Sugar (1 Tart)

These tarts have a creamy, flavorful taste, leaving you baffled that they are certified clean, vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO. Ingredients consist of creamy coconut, low-carb almond flour, mineral-rich maple syrup and heart-healthy cashews. You can indulge in flavors like Dark Chocolate or Strawberry Rhubarb. Each Hail Merry Tart has 100 calories, 6 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fiber and 1 gram of protein.

It's remarkable that an ice cream with such a small amount of sugar exists. It is the main ingredient in Luna and Larry's Naked Coconut Bar, followed by a variety of other coconut-based ingredients and sweetened with agave nectar. The 220 calories, 13 grams of carbs, 1 gram of fiber and 1 gram of protein make the frozen treat a well-balanced choice.
