Calories

A 12 fl. oz. can of Natural Light beer contains 95 calories. One can of Natural Light makes up approximately 5 percent of a 2,000-calorie diet. When compared to other Anheuser-Busch products, Natural Light has close to 50 fewer calories per serving. For example, a 12 fl. oz. serving of Natural Ice contains 157 calories and makes up close to 8 percent of a 2,000-calorie diet.

Fat

Natural Light beer is a fat-free and cholesterol free beverage. While the beer is fat free, it should still be consumed in moderation due to its alcohol and calorie content. Excess calorie intake from beverages such as Natural Light can lead to unwanted weight gain and body fat deposits. Drinking just one Natural Light beer every day for a year can add up to a weight gain of close to 10 lbs.

Carbohydrates

There are 3.2g of carbohydrates in a 12 fl. oz. serving of Natural Light beer. According to Anheuser-Busch, Natural Light beer is brewed for a longer period of time using a blend of hops, malt and corn. This helps to create a lighter and lower calorie beer. By brewing the beer for longer, more of the carbohydrates in the mixture break down into sugars, which are then fermented into alcohol. The end product contains fewer carbohydrates and sugars, which results in a lower calorie beer.

Protein

Natural Light beer is not considered a source of protein. A 12 fl. oz. serving contains 0.7g protein. It is important to consume other sources of protein throughout the day to ensure that you are meeting your protein needs.
